I am excited to transition into the position of graduation coach. I will continue to help students achieve greater success in a different capacity. Make it a GREAT 2nd semester!
Students, we will have our end of unit test on Geology next Tuesday, December 10, 2013. Make sure you are studying your collective notes, we will complete station review and a study guide this week in preparation for it.
Students please respond to the following questions:
1. Which type of rock is most likely to form from eroded material? A. Sedimentary B. Igneous C. Metamorphic D. Magma 2. Under which conditions are igneous rocks formed? A. Heat and Pressure B. Cooling Lava C. Cementation of Eroded Material D. High Pressure and Cementation Progress reports will soon be sent home. Students have been working hard!
On Thursday, August 22 we will host our Haynes Bridge parents beginning at 6:30 pm in the gym. I am looking forward to sharing with parents all that we have done so far and will be doing this school year to educate their children for our ever-changing world!
The start of a new school year is upon us. Beginning 6th grade can be a very exciting time for students as they transition to a new setting. I look forward to having the opportunity to help students develop a love for Science and Math at the middle school level.
I am excited to be joining the Haynes Bridge Middle School family! I look forward to building new alliances and educating new students.
